Vice President, Membership: Carl Bowen Carlb1223@mac.com
Carl is a CPA with a BA in Business Administration from Adelphi University in Garden City.
He has over 20 years experience in real estate and alternative investments.
As such, he has had a front row seat for the current economic debacle we are all living through.
Carl believes that the Constitution is not a "living document" but should be accepted as written.
He stands steadfast against undeclared wars, the extension of the American empire and the
Constitutional violations perpetrated by the "Patriot Act".
A fervent student of the Austrian school of economics, Carl understands that it is government
interference in the free market that fueled the real estate bubble and the resulting bust,
and that only a return to sound money will bring the sustainable economic growth, peace and
prosperity that is every American's birthright. He currently serves as the Nassau County Coordinator
for the Campaign for Liberty. Carl is the loving father to a wonderful stepdaughter and two awesome
sons and can only hope to be a fraction of the husband his devoted wife Karen deserves.
And he’s a helluva shot.

President: Martin Dekom martin.dekom@gmail.com
Dekom (the one the left) is a serial activist. In his salad days at Emory University he started
the College Republicans, which grew to one of the largest chapters in the state. After school
he founded the Atlanta Young Republicans, which became the dominant chapter in the state.
He has helped start or re-start dozens of YR chapters. He was chairman of Georgia Youth for Dole,
a charter member of Perimeter Rotary, and also president of the Atlanta Junior Chamber of Commerce
("Jaycees"). He turned around the chapter, significantly increasing membership and fundraising.
After returning to conquer New York, he was the founder and president of the Long Island Jaycees.
For his efforts he was awarded an Ambassadorship, one of a handful of Jaycees to have that title.
Lately he was integral to resurrecting the Republican club of his hometown, Manhasset. It went
from "dead" to average attendance of 35 in the space of 3 months. He is father to four mischievous
children and husband to a remarkably tolerant wife, Julie. By profession he is a Reverse Mortgage
